The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 6.5
EASEUS Partition Master Professional is a complete partition management tool. It is an application that can be used to manage your disks and partitions. There are quite a few operations that can be carried out with this tool.
In the past, I have used applications like this to extend current partitions or create new ones, or split my partitions to create new logical drives.
This is my first time testing an EASEUS product, but I am liking how much care has been put in making the user interface as simple and intuitive as possible. I particularly like the graphical representation of your disks and the legends at the very bottom of the screen. Partition management is a very risky task, and it is always nice to have as much information as possible about what you are doing.
I couldn't possible describe all of what you can do with this tool, but there are some features that should be mentioned. For example, this application can extend the size of NTFS partitions without rebooting, which saves a lot of time. It can also be used to create bootable CDs and DVDs.
In my time with this application, I carried out the operations that I would use it for should I ever need to. The first thing that I did was split my C: drive into two drives of the same size. To do this, I resized my partition and left some space to create a new one. The application asked me to reboot my system to complete the changes, and I think this was because I created a new partition. After a quick reboot, the app was doing its thing and it finished really quickly. The next thing I did was convert the new partition from NTFS to FAT, which didn't present any problems either.
All in all, EASEUS has established itself as a very respectable company when it comes to developing partition management tools. In my time with it, I was simply amazed at how simple everything is these days. I remember wasting hours and hours at end trying to carry out basic operations. At $19.97, the application is really cheap and could some day save your data.
